Details (extracted from the report): Babcock has been commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing (LBE) Property – Schools Service, to provide an option appraisal to expand Christ Church Primary School from 3FE considering this expansion as part of a Borough wide strategy to cater for an anticipated growth in pupil numbers. This document must be read in conjunction with St. Saviour report (please refer to Option Appraisal 3344 submitted by Babcock) in order to comprehend the overall strategy concerning both.

It should be noted by the reader that this report is to aid LBE’s decision making process on which option to best pursue. While practicality and feasibility this can be further established in the next stage, i.e. the feasibility study. Three options for expanding the school:

Option 1: internal remodelling with The Cottage included and extended;

Option 2: New two storey (FTE) for option 2B (The Cottage demolished);

Option 3: important internal remodelling with an extension for the Nursery 25 (FTE) -The Cottage unchanged-.
