Details: The proposed extension of INTO University takes place in the historical center of Newcastle with a narrow relashionship to the Conservation Area and the Herschel building (existing part of this University located in Percy Street). The Accademic building is certainly the most important among the oveall development strategy because should reinstate strong frontage to Percy Street. On the other hand the historical street (alligned with Herschel building) is converted in an arrival/meeting place and the main pedestrian access.
